CULP Internship Program in Social Development Sector

CULP-Centre for Unfolding Learning Potentials, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization based at Jaipur working in several districts of Rajasthan invites Youth, College / University Students as Interns / Volunteers who wish to contribute  with their time for work at grassroots and want to gain a valuable experience of social sector working. In CULP you can find innovative ways to combat issues like lack of access to quality education, illiteracy, gender and social inequality, malnutrition, poor health and living conditions and develop ways to confront these challenges.
Contribute your talent and time for social up-gradation and you will have a life-changing experience of revelation and mental gratification.

The volunteering program for youth / students will be for three months starting from September 2021 to November 2021. The HQs will be Jaipur.

We are looking for

Students pursuing their graduation / post-graduation / Ph.D., with any skill set who want to contribute to a lasting social change, are invited.

The exposure includes

The current exposure will be for Interns / volunteers to understand the Project implementation in rural parts of Dausa and Tonk districts, financial model of the NGOs and their ways for reaching out the vulnerable population, especially in difficult times of COVID and to raise funds, by working directly for fund raising activity.

What we provide

  • Provide you with a supportive environment;
  • Will provide training and mentor support during the entire volunteering period
  • Exposure at field level implementation of the project activities.
  • Access to the field level activities and field offices of CULP.
  • Certificate of completion of the Internship / voluntary tasks.
  • Incentives on fund raising activities.
  • We do not provide accommodation, stipend and travel allowance during the internship.

 

What we expect

  • Reporting to the person designated by us to manage your activities as an intern / volunteer.
  • Follow all directions of that person, in respect of your internship / volunteering, including as regards the times and locations at which you are to perform activities.
  • Carry out any activities designated to you, to the best of your ability.
  • Behave in a reasonable manner at all times by not causing annoyance to others especially interacting with rural people – in particular, always try to be cheery, polite, and don’t use foul language.
  • Submission of consolidated report on the completion of the internship.
