“ Centre for Unfolding Learning Potentials ”
CULP represents a group of professionals dedicated to bring positive social change via affirmative action in the domain of education and development since 1998. CULP was incorporated under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act of 1958 in February 2001 as a non – governmental, non-profit organization. Before inception of the organization most of CULP members have been associated with innovations in education and state level technical support group for 'Education for All projects' namely, Lok Jumbish, Shikshakarmi, Janshala and DPEP / SSA programmes.

Specific Achievements

    • 4098 child labour removed.
    • 2449 SMCs trained on school monitoring, roles and responsibilities and preparation of SDP.
    • 100 AWWs trained on school readiness tools & multi lingual education.
    • 11985 HHs linked with social securities schemes. (Total beneficiaries linked with different ssc)
    • 3572 migrant labour registered and provided ID cards and counsel legal aid.
    • 56 HHs benefitted from employability skills.
    • 98 CPCs & 95 CGs met with functional criteria. (% should be given)
    • Total 274 teachers trained on child friendly teaching method and practice.
    • 1349 old age peoples & 86 Widows are linked with pension scheme.
    • 65 differently-abled person benefited through disability camps (certificates, tricycles, hearing-aids & other equipment's).
    • 3860 persons linked with MGNREGS.(Approximate)

Follow sincerely 'Coach-Assess-Remediate-Master' model for better student performance in external examinations: Workshop outcome

A one-day six-hour workshop, in which seven participants from CULP-NGO and teachers from local schools of Newel block of Rajasthan's Tonk district took part, resulted in a Coach-Assess-Remediate-Master (CARM) model of support to rural girls for upcoming board examination in March, 2017.

Continuation of the projects:

1 : CRC Project

Current phase – till Dec. 2017, likely to be up-scaled in new block from January 2018 for next phase (4 yrs)

  • Legacy Educ. Project: Current phase till Dec. 2017, likely to be up-scaled in new block from January 2018 for next phase (6 - 8 yrs)
  • preparing strategies & plans of sustaining & up-scaling projects: Resource mobilization.
  • Continuation & Up-scaling of Pehchan Project in both Tonk and Banswara districts: Addl. Resources to be mobilized by show casing the success and replicable model.
  • Technical Support to TAD for Teachers’ Education in 10 tribal districts: current phase till August 2017, likely to be continued for next 2 - 3 yrs.
  • Druv Project in Jaipur district – till July 2017, likely to be continued for 3 to 4 months and interventions to be up-scaled in 4 new blocks in next one year.

2 : Submission of Proposal to SSA for bridge courses for OoS Children in 3 blocks in Banswara.

3 : Exploring Possibilities for long-term partnership with new funding agencies.

4 : Establishing Networking and Advocacy on policy issues with CSOs and other stakeholders from district level to national level.

5 : Planning research studies on various aspects of education.

6 : 3-year Progress Report of CULP
